In regards to our chosen artist I feel that we managed to embody his work well, we used montage techniques and the use of pen/pencil scribbles within our final images which makes our work fit that of Eduardo Recife's. The extensive research we had done beforehand on Eduardo really helped us to get his vision for the images, by combining the use of old fashioned images and new contemporary backgrounds, along with montage techniques and hand-drawn scribbles on top of the images to create meaning and help the audiences understand the characters within the images. Overall I am really happy with how all of our images ended up, they all look cohesive and work well together.
The soundtrack which I created was made using Adobe Audition, I recorded myself talking the narration and then manipulated it by adding different sound effects and a faded soundtrack underneith. I am pleased with my finish soundtrack but I do feel that I could have done more research into sound beforehand to make the soundtrack creation process a lot easier for myself, as I would have known exactly what sounds I was looking for and what mood I wanted to create, It would have given me more of a focus.
One thing I do think that I could have improved on is the narrative of our images, I feel that we focused a lot on the creation of the images that the narrative got lost along the way, we could have spent more time developing a stronger narrative before we created the images which would have added to our overall project.
I feel that me and Daniela really worked well together and shared the work equally, with her taking more control over the image creating process and me with the sound, to make sure we completed all the work on time, we had good communication throughout all the project and bounced off each others ideas and creations.
Overall I am happy with this project and the end result, I am proud with what we managed to create, espesically our images as I am really pleased with how they all turned out and fit together well with our soundtrack to create a narrative.
